In support of the Mobile Police Department, the Mobile Law Enforcement Foundation is partnering with Piggly Wiggly to launch Viddles for the Griddle Program. With this program, Piggly Wiggly will provide a box of “Viddles” each month for the MPD Precincts as a show of appreciation and support for our men and women in blue.

MPD Chief Paul Prine requested griddles with the intent to “improve cohesiveness  among the law enforcement team and to strengthen comradery of the squad members.” He noted the “ultimate servant to the men and women of the MPD is their commander” and he sought to give the command staff the opportunity to provide meals so that their officers would be prepared and continue to serve in challenging times.

Through the generosity of the Community, the Foundation was able to raise funds and provide griddles for all Precincts.  After learning that the Captains at each Precinct used personal funds to feed their officers, the Foundation reached out to Kamal Constantine (KC), owner, Piggly Wiggly and asked if he would provide a box of “Viddles” each quarter.  He immediately offered to provide a box of “Viddles” each month!
